C. Tubular Deadbolt This device has a tubular shaped case requiring a bored (round) hole rather than a chiselled rectangular mortice. This application applies to Deadbolts.
D. Cylinder Mortice Lock A mortice lock is designed to be recessed into the edge of the door rather than being mounted to its surface. Door furniture designed primarily for use with mortice locks are usually mounted on a plate or rose. The selection available offers flexibility to mix and match to suit the aesthetics of every application.
